DocSmart not only transforms your iPhone into a portable scanner but as well as into a portable document management system.
It allows you to scan any kind of documents even multipage documents. The document is automatically detected, scanned, cleaned and the integrated text recognition (OCR) analyses your document very quickly.
The recognized text can be verified and if necessary corrected in a very simple way. At the end you will have a PDF file with integrated text, that is fully searchable in any operating system. You are able to mail the document, share it with other people via Airdrop or upload it to any cloud service installed on your device, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, One Drive or even Salesforce 1.
But the main difference to nearly every scan app in the market makes the integrated document management system. This means you are now able to archive your documents securely on your own device. The documents are archived as PDF files together with the recognized text.
You can tag your documents or make reminders notifying you if there is a task related to a document e.g. an invoice has to be paid or a contract has to be terminated or extended. As soon as the task is done you can mark it as completed.
Furthermore you can import PDF files from other apps, especially from the mail app and archive them as well.
